FIND! Child Care Search Tool Launches to Support Essential Workers During COVID-19

On March 30th, 2020, Best Place for Kids! launched a local child care locator tool for essential workers in Tarrant County during the COVID-19 crisis.

WHAT IT IS:

FIND! is a free, child care search tool specifically designed to provide parents with real-time child care availability information at licensed child care centers across Tarrant County based on proximity to their home and/or work.

WHO IT’S FOR:

Working parents looking for child care that are employed by Tarrant County’s essential businesses during COVID-19 response may now access FIND!

FIND! is available to all employees employed at “essential businesses” in Tarrant County looking for child care for their children ages zero to 12 years of age. Essential businesses are defined by Tarrant County and detailed here.

HOW IT WORKS:

1. Parents input their contact information and child care needs.

2. FIND! provides parents will real-time child care matches based on their needs.

3. Parents use the contact information provided to reserve their space.
